Fifth story

Title- ' Humanity - the best satisfaction'

It was 8 am in the morning...Anidha was getting ready for hospital when suddenly the phone beeped ...!!!!with a spark in her eyes Anidha picked up the phone ...

' Hello! Good morning Dr. Anidha, ...

Before Sansida could complete, Anidha interfere and asked- how are the physiotherapy sessions going for Ratan? Is he able to sit now?"

Sansida- All good!! The trunk and core are better than before...ratan is sitting but not completely unassisted...but much improvement....he was just complaining a bit bout pain in the stitches!"

Anidha- " m arriving in few minutes.. see you den.."

Quickly, Anidha sipped a cup of coffee and drive to the hospital...

Ok, now introducing the character Anidha, a brilliant expertise surgeon 

Sansida , a well experienced physiotherapy rehabilitation expertise .

They both share a great rapo as most of the surgeries performed by Anidha was taken care of Sansida in the rehabilitation phase. They both are working in Mumbai Nanavati hospital...

They were discussing a patient Named Ratan  Biswas who had a road traffic accident with critical complications...Anidha seemed to take too much interested in the case ....

What was surprising to everyone andthe rest medicos was Anidha  never talked about money to Ratan family....

Ratan wife often approached Anidha for the fees . Anidha always smiled and Said- be calm Bhabhi! Let ratan get well.....we will see!!

Sansida was busy in her opd department when she got a call from Anidha to visit her in the ward

Sansida- good morning. So early today !! Here have the functional reports!!  Need to make him walk tomorrow..but please see his stitch pain first..

Anidha- Ya, I checked him ... wonderful improvement... thanks Sansida....I don't have much to worry once I give my patient in your hand... All ok...u can start making him walk....

Sansida smiles and offers her some water!! Sansida- u look too excited! Wats d matter! I feel you are more close to this case since other ..see, I am working with you since last few years ...know you well

Anidha- u remember Sansida, I once told you a story of a girl who forgot her purse and a kind auto rickshaw drop her to examination hall.... remember?? 

Sansida- Ya, u told! But you never mentioned who was that girl and the auto rickshaw puller ..was it someone known?

Anidha- Yaah, it was me. I had my most important exams. I would never forgot d day when half way I realised I forgot my purse . It was not possible for me to go back home as I was getting late for exams...I cried and told the auto rickshaw ...if it was somebody or anybody, that person would have drop me in middle way but that rickshaw wala just smiled and said u go give your exams behna...don't worry...may be god wants me to help you!" I have never forgotten him. I used to search for him at the same place..true man he was...someone who taught me humanity .. He is none other than this patient ratan biswas. I recognize him at first glance!!

Sansida was amazed by this and she carried the letter which Anidha have her to Ratan!

With a smile and excitement in her face,

Sansida- Ratan ji, today we will walk ok!! I shall take you to the corridor. But dr. Anidha- had send you the bills .

Ratan and his wife was worried seeing the bill from  as they knew the whole life  earnings would be difficult to pay the bill- 

Nervously , he opened the bill...it was written-

"Paid the auto-rickshaw fare bhaiiya through your surgery! Thank you for reaching humanity to me. I am here today because of that day exam!"

Ratan after reading this  smiled. He turned back to see Dr..Anidha behind him...he couldn't recognise her earlier as the same girl ..

 They both hugged each other and saw the beautiful sun rising up from the bed window together!! 

"Chaley! Can we walk now?"- interfere Sansida as she looked both of them in appreciation!

Faith in humanity once again restored!
